The Information AFTA Collects and How AFTA Uses It
AFTA collects personal information when you register for email products from AFTA.
When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, and affiliation. Once you register and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
AFTA uses information for the following general purposes: to improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external recipients.
Information Shared With Third Parties
In addition, AFTA may employ outside agents, meaning other companies or individuals to perform functions on its behalf, such as sending postal mail and e-mail, and analyzing data. These AFTA agents have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. Editing Your Personal Information
You may edit and/or delete your Alliance for the Arts Account Information by sending an email to us at publications@allianceforarts.org. Our email communications provide you with an explicit method to unsubscribe from receiving further email communications.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the Alliance for the Arts' services, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the Alliance for the Arts Newsletter, which are considered part of your Alliance for the Arts account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.
The Site has security measures in place intended to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under AFTA’s control. AFTA uses industry standard encryption to help ensure that all the personal information you provide is encrypted and remains private. This helps to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Demographic and profile data may be collected at the Site, including without limitation, the number of parties registered on the Site, the number of guests and the number and kinds of charities.
