Doctor, lawyer, teacher, fireman, musician, playwright, sport star … which one did you dream of becoming? And more importantly, have we exhausted every resource today to ensure our children can achieve these goals too?

At the Brooklyn Philharmonic, we seek to impact lives through art. And there’s a good reason for that: in a society driven by creative thinkers, it’s more important than ever that we teach the fundamental skill of creativity that can be applied to all endeavors no matter what economic, cultural or social background our children come from.

That’s why the Brooklyn Philharmonic provides over 6,000 students in Brooklyn with free education every single school day of the year – more than any other non-profit organization in New York City. Music has a unique capacity to foster exploration, self-discipline, decision making, appreciation and problem solving. Through our in-school teaching programs, chamber festivals, smartARTS academy, concerts and community outreach, we create bridges between the arts that will reap dividends for Brooklynites for generations to come.

We are truly grateful for your sponsorship and generous support of these vital programs.
