Town Hall was once a meeting place to rally around early 20th-century causes. It is the Hall where African-American contalto Marian Anderson debuted when discrimination reigned elsewhere. Town Hall's vibrant progressive history lives on through its diverse programming including performances by Ani DiFranco, Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" and some of the finest talents in stand-up comedy and dance. Town Hall Lab is the educational outreach division of Town Hall.
