Prospect Park Audubon Center Listings

  • Introduction to Birdwatching

    Ongoing Prospect Park is home to more than 200 species of birds. Bring your binoculars, take a guided tour and discover why the National Audubon Society has designated the park an Important Bird Area. Meet at the Boathouse, off Ocean Avenue.

    Ongoing Naturalists at the Audubon Center lead structured, fun and engaging arts activities combined with outdoor nature play that will have kids up and moving like an animal or pretending to be a bat trying to catch a moth! The activities take place every Saturday and Sunday at the Audbuon Center's lakeside home in Prospect Park.
