Artists of national and international renown are presented at the Hostos Center for the Arts & Culture, the centerpiece of the campus at Hostos Community College of the City University of New York. Designed by the celebrated architectural firm Gwathmey Siegel Associates, the center comprises a museum-quality art gallery, a 367-seat theater and a 907-seat concert hall.

Dedicated to meeting the cultural needs of the communities served by the college, Hostos showcases emerging and established local artists and offers workshops in drama, folk arts and dance to community residents. The center's repertory company has a number of outstanding productions to its credit and has become an important voice in Spanish-language theater in the metropolitan area. In addition, the center copresents Community Works' annual performance series, the Hostos Connection, a program of music, dance and theater from cultures around the world.
