Manhattan Movement and Arts Center (MMAC) was conceived and developed as a space for people of all ages and levels to explore dance and movement. Children exercise their curiosity and creativity, young dancers refine their technique and artistry, choreographers and dancers rehearse and develop their works. The center is also open to organizations and businesses to stage performances and special events at the 180-seat theater with proscenium stage.
MMAC is the home of the Manhattan Youth Ballet, a graded, pre-professional ballet academy and performance company. The center also provides dance and fitness classes to all ages and experience levels.
