The New York Center For Flamenco Performing Arts/ArtsFlamenco (ArtsFlamenco) preserves the traditions of flamenco, while also supporting the evolution of flamenco as an art form. It strives to foster an intelligent appreciation of  flamenco through education and performance.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary in 2009, Alegrias On Broadway is ArtsFlamenco’s theater wing. The show A Night In Andalusia is a weekly production of traditional flamenco featuring local and international artists. The venue offers a taste-of-Spain menu and table seating to replicate an authentic tablao flamenco experience.

ArtsFlamenco teaches regularly scheduled dance classes for adults in the NoHo section of Manhattan. Specialty workshops are held during the summer, and Sevillanas classes are taught twice annually. Lectures/performances are given at libraries and community centers.

Pasion Flamenca is ArtsFlamenco’s theatrical dance company presenting narrative-based choreodramas and choreocomedies.  A storyteller at its core, Pasion Flamenca communicates through the medium of flamenco dance, incorporating sound effects, lighting, narration and cinematography.
