Dorian Woodwind Quintet Foundation

Since its formation at Tanglewood in 1961, the Dorian Wind Quintet has performed repertoire ranging from the Baroque to Pulitzer-Prize-winning commissions in many of the world's most renowned concert halls. The ensemble was the first such wind quintet to appear at Carnegie Hall (1981).

The Dorian Wind Quintet has been a recognized leader in the field of wind chamber music for more than four decades. To realize its mission, the organization tours nationally and internationally, commissions new pieces and produces recordings.

The members of the quintet are: John Hunt, bassoon; Gretchen Pusch, flute; Jerry Kirkbride, clarinet; Karl Kramer-Johansen, horn and Gerard Reuter, oboe.
