Thurs, July 1, 2010 – Sun, Sept 26, 2010 Artist/composer Christian Marclay (b. 1955) is known for his distinctive fusion of image and sound. Celebrated as a pioneer of turntablism, Marclay transforms sound and music into visual and physical forms through performance, collage, sculpture, large-scale installations, photography and video.
Off the Wall: Part 2——Seven Works by Trisha Brown
Thurs, Sept 30, 2010 – Sun, Oct 3, 2010 Works will be performed by tthe Trisha Brownc Dance Company daily (September 30-October 3, 2010), in the Second Floor Galleries, Sculpture Court and outside on East 75th Street. Planned performances include Man Walking Down the Side of a Building, Falling Duet I, Leaning Duets I and II, Spanish Dance and Floor of the Forest.
