  • Nature Crafts

    Ongoing Teachers and naturalists at the Audubon Center are available each weekend, leading structured, fun and engaging arts activities for children. Kids create toys, puppets and more, using all-natural materials, all for free.

  • Coffee Bark

    Ongoing FIDO (Fellowship in the Interest of Dogs and their Owners) in Prospect Park offers free goodies for dogs and their owners. The group also provides information pertaining to off-leash activities and issues.

  • Into the Woods

    Ongoing Within Prospect Park, students take a close look at Brooklyn’s last remaining forest, examining the specimens they collect from its different layers. The 80-minute workshop explores what role each part of the ecosystem plays in the survival of plants and animals. Teachers should make reservations for spring dates as far in advance as possible.Meet at the Boathouse, near the Ocean Avenue entrance to the park.
