Grand Central Terminal
After playing an important part in Grand Central Terminal's preservation in 1978, the Municipal Art Society has been giving tours of this magnificent Beaux-Arts landmark for a quarter-century. Tours meet at the information booth on the main concourse.
Groups of more than 10 people should make private arrangements.
The Municipal Art Society is a private, nonprofit organization that aggressively champions excellence in urban design, sanity in planning and preservation of the best of New York's past. Educational and advocacy efforts, including walking tours, public programs and exhibitions, are dedicated to making New York a more livable city.
