Through cutting edge multimedia, historical artifacts and maps, the island of Manhattan as it appeared when Henry Hudson arrived with his crew in 1609 is reconstructed and imagined with rolling hills, bubbling streams, and abundant natural treasures. Native Americans called the island Mannahatta.

The exhibition is on loan from the Museum of the City of New York, which exhibited Mannahatta/Manhattan in 2009.
