    Earth Celebrations

    Manhattan

    Earth Celebrations works to raise ecological awareness and revive the arts at the center of community life. In the past, preserving community gardens on the Lower East Side and throughout the city by means of a program of arts projects, theatrical pageants, performances, exhibitions, video programs and ecology workshops for children and adults; it currently does similar advocacy for the Hudson River Estuary.

  • East Meadow

    Manhattan

    Close to Fifth Avenue, the East Meadow is easily accessible from Central Park's perimeter. This area is widely used for activities including sunbathing, picnics and sports.

  • East River Park Bandshell

    Manhattan

    The bandshell offers theater, dance and music events. Seating is outdoors in amphitheater style.

  • Esplanade Plaza

    Manhattan

    In addition to garden plantings, ample seating and views of the river and cove, Esplanade Plaza also contains a permanent volleyball court.
