Founded in 1977 by Margaret Mead and other anthropologists, the museum details the anthropology disciplines of biology, archaeology, linguistics and culture studies. One exhibit traces the history of the Armenian people, from ancient times to the 1915 Armenian genocide through paths of immigration, including to the U.S.
