Earth Celebrations works to raise ecological awareness and revive the arts at the center of community life. In the past, preserving community gardens on the Lower East Side and throughout the city by means of a program of arts projects, theatrical pageants, performances, exhibitions, video programs and ecology workshops for children and adults; it currently does similar advocacy for the Hudson River Estuary.
