Whitney Family Programs are designed to encourage children ages 4–12 and their parents or caregivers to observe, discuss, and explore art together while developing a sense of life-long experimentation, critical thinking, and creative expression. Participants have the opportunity to work directly with contemporary artists, Museum educators, and each other.

A 28-acre public garden and cultural center, Wave Hill has views of the Hudson River and the Palisades, as well as an expanse of green lawns and woodlands.

Through the Global Youth Media Arts Program, youth ages 10-18 use their own lives and communities as a platform to examine a global theme—Immigration and Identity—using visual arts, performance and media.
